Regiopolis Notre Dame Catholic High School (RND) netted over four villages, which will protect 1,200 people from malaria. Supported by the “Regi Helps Universal Missions” (RHUM) group, and Pastoral Director, Mary Elaine Carty, students Sara Lefebvre, Gabby Holle, Kelsey Tyerman, Cassy Santoni, Mady McDonald, Erin Brennan, and others sold beaded jewelry during lunch hours, as part of the “Beading Up Malaria” initiative. “It was easy to do. Everyone loved the necklaces and bracelets.” said Sara Lefebvre. Sara, who is a member of the upcoming Voluntour team to Uganda, will participate in bed net distributions made possible by the funds raised. Thank you to all at RND for caring through action with big hearts.
