Cdn Malaria Expert Leads Study In Uganda

Dr. Kevin Kain, one of the world’s leading malaria experts, is conducting a study in Uganda to determine if nitric oxide can improve the survival rates of children with cerebral malaria. “The people of Uganda are very fortunate to have this kind of research in their own hospital. If successful, Dr. Kain could turn the tide against cerebral malaria, and save many children from either death or lifelong neurological deficits,” said Gail Fones, Buy-a-Net Board Chairperson.
