Across Canada people support Buy-A-Net in other ways than donating money towards the purchase of bed nets. They organize events, donate in the name of friends and family, and rally up larger groups to spread the news.

Sara Lefebvre: Volunteering to Explore my World
3.3 billion people – that’s half the population of the entire world – are at risk for malaria. That number stuck with high school student Sara, who wanted to do something to help. So, she packed her bags and traveled to Uganda with her mother’s organization “Buy a Net”. Her and a team of volunteers distributed malaria nets throughout small villages across Uganda. This journey was a life changing experience, one that has inspired Sara to follow in her mother’s footsteps in international development.
