We can tell you that the proceeds you raised at the benefit concert Saturday night will begin to save children’s lives immediately.
Buy-A-Net will ensure that more children in more of the 146 villages of Kawempe District Uganda will sleep safe from malaria and perchance to dream of a better life free from this 100% preventable disease that kills so many each day and cripples the health care, education and economy of millions.
This electric and eclectic gathering of talented composers and performers held us all in thrall from start to finish.
Buy-A-Net and our good friends at the Boys and Girls Club shared in the proceeds of the evening. Cathy Bryan Buy-A-Net Director welcomes concert attendees and Boys and Girls Board member Jill Eady represents the club.
Buy-A-Net volunteers Cathy & Soni thank our most generous citizens for the interest and donations for nets during the intermission.
