Sturgeon Heights Collegiate in Winnipeg, MB., raised enough to protect app. 450 families in Kawempe District, Uganda, from malaria, or nearly 1,800 women and children! “Different classes did different things to fundraise, including bake sales, pizza days, a teacher olympics, and so on,” said Brian Hull, Dept. Head, Social Studies. Congratulations and thank you to all at Sturgeon Heights for a very successful life saving campaign!

In celebration of Girl Guides Canada’s ” World Thinking Day”: theme “stop the spread of AIDS, malaria and other diseases”, Girl Guides across Canada support Buy-a-Net.
Kingston & Winnipeg Girl Guiders have raised enough money to net nearly 2 villages.
Thank you Girl Guides for “Thinking” and learning about the effects malaria has on our world, and for saving lives from malaria.
Girl Guiders gathered to listen & present cheque to Buy-A-Net, Founder Mrs. Lefebvre.
